Electronic waste is a problem… Now that we have reached high levels of technological innovation, dumping in landfills is no longer a viable option. Much of the electronics we use today contain toxic metals such as beryllium, lead, mercury, PVC, and more. EPA classifies all electronic waste as toxic waste, if your business is caught dumping electronics in the landfill they will impose fines or remediation programs. In 2002 California’s universal waste law prohibits disposal of electronics in landfills.
We have worked with school districts, manufacturers, government agencies, and small business owners. ERC Incorporated minimized their risks, provided guidance helping them become a minimal waste facility, and most importantly become compliant with the law.
Don’t let old technology hinder your company’s growth, ERC Inc. has the solutions and tools available to take care of these problems.
